Underwater Topography: Busy shallow reef, lots of cracks and crevices. The reef is close to shore so divers can enjoy long dives. El Nino changed the face of this reef but most of the marine life remains. It is especially beautiful at sunrise and just before sunset making an overnight stay an appealing option.
Marine life: Ribbon eels, leaf fish, a variety of triggerfish, many species of parrotfish, saddle backs and skunk clownfish, porcelain crabs, mantis shrimp, stonefish, scorpion fish, nudibranchs and sleeping fish are common. Many anemone species, mating octopus and some cuttlefish laying eggs. This reef is known for its huge diversity of fish life, with at least 300 species living in this area.
