Pura Ped Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida pictureLocation: North-central Nusa Penida

Visibility: 10-30m

Depths: 3-37m (10-37ft)

Diving Conditions: Exhilarating drift dives, currents can be strong.

Travel time to site: Approx. 45 min. by our speedboat

Underwater Topography: This reef along Nusa Penida’s north coast slopes down to about 50 m. The rich coral cover is home to a lot of exotic fish. Hard corals tangle and stretch into snake like shapes.

Marine life: White-tip reef sharks, green moray eel, groupers, sea snakes, manta rays and barracuda. Manta rays and graceful hammerheads have cruised by here at 20m depths. This is also home to many smaller, brightly coloured fish.

Main Attractions: Hammerheads, manta rays scour the deep nutrient rich water. Giant bat-rays are a favourite of Bali International Diving Professionals.
Colourful reef tops, a good place for snorkelling trips. Interesting night dives, including nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs and many other surprises.
