Location: Amed village
Visibility: 5-20m
Depths: 3-40 m (10-130ft)

Bali International Diving Professionals have an experienced boat driver/captain and assistants that are able to read currents before you dive to put you in the best spot for a safe drift dive.
Travel time to site: 2,5 hours by mini-bus and 10 min. by traditional boat
Underwater Topography: Amed has 3 walls on its most popular stretch of reef. The walls are saddled with the un-inspired monikers Amed 1, 2 and 3. The walls have lots of sea fans, sponges and fish life. Amed 1 is in about 37 m. to the right of the river channel. Amed 2, directly in front of the channel in about 30 m. Amed 3 is to the left in about 37 m.
Marine life: Angelfish, Napoleon wrasses, sea turtles, the odd reef shark, sapphire yellow-tails, blue-streak, fusiliers. Mola Molas have been seen here, usually in the deeper areas where cold upwellings occur in August through to January. Bali International Diving Professionals have some unique video footage of Mola Mola interactions.
Main Attractions: Abundant fishlife. Snorkeling, deep diving. |
