PADI - Discover Scuba Diving Bali

Duration: 1 Day / 2 Dives

This introductory diving course is for divers who have limited time in Bali and wish to dive without all the onshore learning and lessons. This is a one day / afternoon Scuba diving course, getting you into the actual Balinese dive sites with our highly qualified and professional guidance in littlebit more then an hour. Experience gained in Discover Scuba Diving can be attributed to the Scuba Diver or Open Water Course at a later date.

What will you do?
When you participate in BIDP's Discover Scuba Introductory Diving Course in Bali, you discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "Weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a Scuba Diver knows the feeling! Discover It Now!

Theory Session: You will spend an hour in our classroom in Sanur, being taught the basics of Scuba diving, safety practices through a video lecture and presentation of your Scuba Diving Instructor.

Confined Water Session: You will be fitted with your Scuba equipment and, in a confined water environment, like a swimming pool, practice and demonstrate basic skills you have learned during your theory session.

Open Water Dive: Under close supervision and guidance of your BIDP instructor you will make an Open Water Dive to maximum depth of 12 metres. There are many places in Bali where you can make you Discover Scuba Dives. Some examples are Sanur or Tulamben, where conditions are usually suitable.

• Good general health

Where do you go from here?
As soon as you Discovered Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills used in the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving sessions. If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.
