Jack Point-Mangrove / Sakenan

Location: North east of Nusa Lembongan

Visibility: 10-20m

Depths: 4.5-27m (15-90ft)

Diving Conditions: Great for shallow easy dives and for snorkeling combined with current rides for more experienced divers. The currents are usually calm down to approx. 12 m.

Travel time to site: 30-45 min. by our speedboat

Underwater Topography: Some coral damage to the south of this site. The locals used to remove coral to house their seaweed farms but since the farms became established recovery has been successful.

Marine life: At approx. 24 m. and just above schools of sweetlips, dogtooth tuna, white- tip shark, huge angelfish, emperor and blue-ringed angelfish.

Main Attractions: Shallow dives, snorkelling, exhilarating current rides, recommended for more experienced divers by Bali International Diving Professionals. Seaweed farms found in the shallows. Photographer's playground!
