Ceningan Nusa Penida Pass

Diving Conditions: Bali International Diving Professionals recommend this site as suitable for advanced and experienced divers. Down and up-currents make this dive location a challenge. The whirlpools and converging currents definately make this a difficult place to dive. Bali International Diving Professionals have expert knowledge of all entry and exit points as our long-term staff member, Bapak Sarming, is a local resident born and bred in Nusa Lembongan. Pak Sarming actually first discovered many of our dive site around this area with the famous. Strong currents run along the vast wall opposite Gamat Crystal Bay.
Travel time to site: 30-45 min. by our speedboat
Underwater Topography: Vast wall, adorned with soft corals, tubastrea corals and sea fans. The dive starts at the northern end of the Nusa Ceningan. The south-east side of Nusa Ceningan is said to be one of the world's deepest natural channels. It separates Nusa Ceningan from Nusa Penida.
Marine life: Large tuna, groupers, bull jacks and sharks.
